About Me

I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and moved to Austin, TX right after high School. Growing up I never thought that I would be an artist but I made a couple sculptures once and now I can’t stop. I love making art of all kinds but metal work is my passion. Scale drives much of my work and I am always on the lookout for a way to realize the fabrication and placement of community-scale projects.  I will complete my 8’ long kinetic, steel sculpture, The Fisherman in the next month and plan to begin a 12-15’ tall steel sculpture as soon as I can.

When I take a break from welding and fabricating metal sculpture, I work on my abstract photographic series. It’s an exploration of post-pandemic thoughts and feelings through highly saturated color and evocative shapes and composition.  The photographs are presented as 3’ x 6’ archival prints on acrylic.

Every day, I try to express myself through my work. Please take a look at my portfolio and let me know what you think!
